Kaprun Glacier Estate is high up on the southern slope of a mountain on the edge of Kaprun, between Kitzsteinhor4nGlacier and the Maiskogel ski area. Not coincidentally, this is one of the most beautiful locations Romex has purchased for the development of this beautiful accommodation. Kaprun Glacer Estate consists of 8 luxurious apartments and 3 magnificent penthouses. The accommodation is suited for 5 to 14 persons. Each apartment has a terrace or balcony. All apartments have a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.

Kaprun during the winter
The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and the Schmittenhöhe ski area of Kaprun guarantee a fairytale-like winter holiday for both young and old. Some 30 mountains with a height of over 3,000 meters allow you to experience all facets of the Alps. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is absolutely snow-certain.
The Europa Skiregion with Kaprun – Zell am See is one of the best-known ski areas in the Austrian alps. Highly varied and something for everyone to enjoy. Great wide, blue and red slopes for families with children, light skiers and snowboarders, but also with more challenging mogul slopes and black descents for the cracks. In addition, there are ample cross-country opportunities.
Maiskogelbahn
From now on, you can also step into the Maikogelbahn in the center of Kaprun. There is a new lift connecting the Maiskogel to the Kitzsteinhorn.
The slopes of the Maiskogel mountain border directly on the village and are excellently suited for the whole family. In addition, the ski pass of Kaprun is also valid in the Zell am See area. This means our apartments are very favorably located in Kaprun.
Activities in Kaprun
Kaprun and Zell am See are authentic, Austrian mountain villages, attracting not only Dutch and other Europeans, but many other global citizens as well. This makes the area a bit worldly, without loss of its authenticity. There are plenty attractive restaurant facilities for having food or a drink after skiing. The after-ski options are overwhelming, both on the slopes and in the villages.
Kaprun during the summer
During summers and the seasons in between, many ski lofts remain open to take the sporty mountain bikers with their bikes to the tops of the mountains. There are unlimited opportunities for hiking tours.
In summers it is fantastic to stay at the lake of Zell am See. Not only are there many types of water sports to enjoy, there are also nice quiet spots along the lake to discover. In Kaprun you can play golf among the impressive Austrian mountains on the wonderful 36-hole golf course of Zell am See or play tennis on the tennis courts with the mountains in the background.
In 2010 Austria’s largest Spa and Wellness Centre, called Tauern Spa, was opened on the outskirts of Kaprun.
In Kaprun and nearby Zell am See are many shops, cafes and often culinary restaurants. In addition, these places offer a rich and varied night life for young and old all year round.
